She Lost 110 Pounds in 10 Months without Exercising

We’ve all been there. Trying to lose weight can be exhausting, frustrating, money and time consuming and we often end up with little or no results. But this woman managed to lose 110 pounds in just 10 months and with no exercise at all!

One young woman shocked the Internet a few days ago when she posted a before/after photo of her weight loss on Imgur. She attracted a lot of attention with her photo and her story and got endless positive comments and support from other Imgur users.

Below the photo, she explained her method of losing weight hoping to help other people struggling with obesity just like her.

I’m not a doctor, just sharing what worked for me,” she wrote. “I do keto for my diet. I stay around 20 – 25 net carbs daily. Basically, when your body doesn’t have carbs to burn, it burns fat.

Even though she looks much better and healthier now, she says that she’s not done and still has a lot of work to do. And what is her advice to all of those with weight problems?

Just start and DON’T CHEAT. I threw everything in my house away two days before Christmas and haven’t looked back.”

So what exactly is keto?

The Ketogenic Diet is an extremely popular type of diet because it gives results fast. More and more people are resorting to it because it is not only effective, it’s also healthy. This diet almost completely excludes carbohydrates and replaces them with a lot of proteins and fat.


Although this diet is a bit controversial because of its dramatic results, the fact is that it is even used in some medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, cancer, etc. Even so, you should be careful with it, because losing too much weight too quickly could cause problems.

The Keto Diet leads to ketosis which is a metabolic process in which the body burns fat instead of sugar and glucose in order to make energy. For the diet to work properly, you must make sure your fat and protein intake are really high, otherwise you run a risk of damaging your muscle tissue.

What can you eat and what should you avoid?

If you decide to start practicing the Keto Diet, you can eat pretty much all kinds of meat. Everything from chicken, pork, beef to lamb is allowed as long as it’s organic. And you can even treat yourself to bacon, so it’s not all that bad.

When it comes to fish, you can also eat all kinds including seafood. Be careful with vegetables because not all of it is allowed. You may eat leafy greens, cucumber, asparagus, zucchini, celery and kale. And when it comes to fruit only avocado is allowed, and occasionally berries.

Forget about bread and any kind of pastry. You should also stay away from processed foods, “low-fat” products and milk. Fast food and sweets should go without saying. But it’s for a good cause, right?
