6 Grilled Cheese Sandwich Combos to Adore
Grilled cheese sandwich is one of the most delicious simple meals we all enjoy occasionally or a little more often than that.
However, when you eat the same food every day, no matter how delicious it is, you will surely get bored of it and it will stop looking so delicious. Fortunately, there are many combinations of this deliciousness, so you will never get tired of grilled cheese sandwiches and you will absolutely adore each combo.
1. Hawaiian Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Ham and Pineapple
Eating this grilled cheese sandwich will literally make you feel as if you were relaxing and enjoying in Hawaii, on a beach. You get that delicious cheesy part, but there’s a tropical twist brought to you by pineapple. And it is so easy to make, all you need is 2 slices of bread, 3 slices of pineapple, 3 slices of Canadian bacon, shredded cheese, some butter, and if you like – oregano and parsley.
And that is it, no complicated recipes or preparation philosophies. Just put butter on one side of each piece of bread (and sprinkle some parsley and oregano if you like those spices), then put the shredded cheese on the side of the bread you didn’t butter, followed by bacon and pineapple, and cover all that with the other piece of bread (the buttered part should be facing up). Then cook the sandwich in a frying pan on low heat, a few minutes on both sides. And that’s it – 5-10 minutes of your time followed by an explosion of taste and eruption of enjoyment.
2. Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich
If you are a fan of blue cheese, you will love this sandwich and won’t be able to get enough of it. This sandwich is spicy, tasty, the cheese is gooey and surrounded by wonderfully buttered grilled bread. You don’t have to go to a fast food place to get this deliciousness, you can make it right now at home, and all you need is 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, two slices of bread, 2 ounces of cheese, some shredded chicken, 1 ounce of crumbled blue cheese, some red (hot) pepper and salt.
You will need around 15 minutes to prepare this slice of heaven. First, melt some butter and then cover it with both pieces of bread and fry them until they turn brownish (2 minutes). Then take it out of the pan and put half of the amount of cheese on one bred, along with some blue cheese and the red peppers. Then place the rest of the cheese on top of that, and cover it with bread. Put the whole sandwich into a skillet and cook for around 5 minutes (until the cheese is completely melted), and it’s ready!
3. White Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich
If you like pizza and you also like grilled cheese sandwiches, you will definitely love this pizza grilled cheese sandwich. It is a combination that will turn your head and make you want to eat it every day for every meal. This grilled cheese is extra EXTRA cheesy. There’s garlic too, as well as olive oil. The taste is to die for, and the preparation procedure is something a child could easily go through without much trouble.
You will need three different cheeses – mozzarella, parmesan and sharp provolone. The bread you can choose yourself, but the best option would be a thinly sliced white bread. Put a little garlic powder in a bowl together with some olive oil, rosemary, basil, oregano and parsley and add in a pinch of salt. Then toss in 8 ounces of mascarpone cheese and stir. Add the provolone, mozzarella and parmesan into the mixture while the thinly sliced bread is baked on a skillet, buttered side faced downwards. You don’t need us to tell you how to make macaroni and cheese, right? Thought so – so make mac n’ cheese, put half of it on one piece of bread when it’s done, and the other half on another piece, and then you have 2 more slices of bread to cover. Cook the sandwiches in a skillet until the center has melted and the bread is crusty.
Is there anything simpler? – Probably, but you can’t say this sandwich is difficult to make. Enjoy.

For this treat it really isn’t a bother to spend a lot of time making it, but the preparation can actually be very quick. And you only need four ingredients: butter, waffles, Cheddar cheese and fried chicken.
You can buy waffles in a store, or make them yourself. If they are big, split them in half. On each waffle, put some cheese. Then put some pieces of chicken on only one piece and close the sandwich. Fry it on melted butter until the bread becomes crusty and the cheese melts nicely. You can press the sandwich with a fork or a spatula against the bottom of the skillet to speed up the process and make it crustier.
