1. Deep squats

You can do this exercise at the gym or at home, with or without weights (if you’re a total beginner start with your weight only, until you build up strength). For this exercise it is important to go as low as you can, while keeping your back straight. By doing this, you will activate your gluteus muscles to the maximum.

Your feet should be spread at the width of your shoulders, or a little wider, and while you’re descending to a low squat position, make sure you’re not stressing your spine. Also, make sure that your knees don’t move sideways- holding your palms together in front of your chest will help with that.

If doing 12-15 repetitions without weights is easy for you, take some weights and hold them in front of your chest. If you don’t have any weights, you could fill up a water bottle with sand, or find some easy-to-hold object that you have at home.
